In these trying times, who wants to complain, however, it was extremely pricey and sad that half of us didn’t even get what we originally wanted because they were out of it. Our waitress, she was a sweetheart but just lacked. Scallop basket was tiny pieces of fried rubber and the other meals were soaked in old bay seasoning. When we asked our waitress what other side vegetables they had, as per the menu, we were told the side vegetables were French fries, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, applesauce OR we can get the steamed broccoli that is a “ huge head of broccoli that counts as two sides” I mean, those are the side vegetable?!Īnyhow. Which their sides are nowhere on the menu but the statement of the meals comes with two sides only appears no less than 7 places on a one page menu. So their menu… all over the menu it states most meals have the option of “ two sides of vegetables or. Sunday at 4pm Out of Fish and Chips, out of Shrimp Basket, out of Clam Strip Basket. Seafood Restaurant that was out of seafood. The service was excellent with drink refills and other attentiveness. Got a blueberry pie and ice cream for dessert.

The menu for Surf Rider may have changed since the last user update. I got a salad and tater tots, both of which were fine. Seems like their sides/veggies may vary each night because they are listed on the whiteboard. This was twice as much food on the patter as we get at some other places for just a few bucks more. The portions were ample: 6 good-sized shrimp, 6 good-size scallops and a huge piece of flounder.
Everything was cooked well and had good taste. My wife and I each got the broiled seafood platter. As our guest, experience panoramic Pacific Ocean views, impeccable service, and spacious accommodations. Even when it got busy, the noise level was tolerable and we could hear each other speak. Acquaint yourself with a breath taking oceanfront setting at the Surfrider Resort. at a booth by the window so got a nice view. I rarely get seafood because the hubby has a mild seafood allergy & even the smell permeating the house makes him. I ordered the alfredo with grilled shrimp, scallops, & crab. We went for a belated Valentines Day dinner. The restaurant was spacious tables were not crammed together. Surf Rider is owned by the same people who own Lizs Country Kitchen (see my review for Lizs), which is right next door. Were able to get right in, but by the time we left, most tables were taken and many people at the bar. Went with my wife and daughter late on a Sunday afternoon.
